Immediately following the official ceasefire announcement, touch's technical teams headed to various locations in the South, north of the Litani River, and Beirut southern suburbs to repair damage that affected number of its sites. This was done in line with the company's commitment to restoring network coverage and ensuring communication for its subscribers as quickly as possible.
Since the early morning hours, the technical teams have successfully repaired over 30 sites in the South and Beirut southern suburbs. Mobile voice and data services are now available to the majority of the company's subscribers in the towns of the South, north of the Litani River, and in Beirut's southern suburbs. The operator is also currently working to repair some sites damaged in the Western Bekaa Valley, where network stability is generally reported.
Touch confirms that its teams will work continuously during the coming days to ensure network coverage for voice calls and data with the quality that its subscribers in those areas in particular, as well as in all Lebanese regions, expect to receive.
