
Touch announced that since the official ceasefire declaration, it has restored over 85% of its network coverage in the South, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the West Bekaa. The remaining coverage pertains to sites that are inaccessible due to security reasons. Accordingly, mobile voice and data services are now available to the company's subscribers wherever they are located in these areas.
The operator's technical teams were able to repair and perform the related maintenance to 115 out of 135 sites that went out of service in these areas due to the war, bearing in mind that he total number of sites in these areas is 408. Touch also successfully restored internet service to the towns of Shebaa, Rmeish, Ain Ebel, and Qouzah as soon as the situation stabilized.
While the Ministry of Telecommunications oversees the progress of the repair work on a daily basis, the technical teams continue to work tirelessly to complete the maintenance work and restore the service to its full capacity and best quality as soon as possible.
